Second trimester

 SECOND TRIMESTER:

                                            A pregnancy period usually lasts for approximately 40 weeks. These weeks are divided into three trimesters. Here we are talking about the second trimester which includes weeks 13 through 27 of the pregnancy period.

In the 2nd trimester, the child grows large and stronger and lots of girls begin displaying a larger belly. Maximum ladies locate that the second trimester is lots less difficult than the first, but it’s still important to be knowledgeable about your pregnancy condition in the second trimester.

. Women must see Gynecologist after every two to four weeks during the second trimester period of pregnancy. Tests that might be done during regular visits to gynecologists include:

  • Measures changes in Weight.

  • Check blood pressure 

  • Ultrasound

  • Amniocentesis

  •  Diabetes Test

  • Searching for any birth defects or having another genetic screening test.

During this period doctor can detect by performing an ultrasonic test whether your baby is a boy or a girl. Basically, it’s your choice to know the sex of the baby before the birth of the baby.

  • Personal health care:

  • Use Prenatal Vitamins

  • Take Regular Exercise.

  • Do Kegel Exercises.

  • Eat Plenty of fruits and vegetables.

  • Take low fats form of protein.

  • Keep yourself Hydrated.

  • Eat about more than 300 Calories.

  • Brush your teeth regularly to keep your gums and teeth healthy.

What to avoid after knowing about pregnancy?


  • Avoid any strenuous workout that would cause serious damage to your belly.

  • Avoid drinking alcohol.

  • Avoid taking more than one cup of coffee or tea per day.

  • Abstain from smoking.

  • Refrain from eating Raw fish and smoked seafood.

  •  Avoid Cat muddle, which could carry a parasite that causes toxoplasmosis.

  • Avoid drinking unpasteurized milk and other dairy products.
