Healthy Egg yolk color
The dark orange color yolk
The egg you buy from the farm that egg yolk comes with the gorgeous orange yolk and we start thinking why it looks so different from standard grocery store eggs.
Dark orange yolk signifies that the egg is extremely healthy and nutritious. A hen that produces dark orange yolks means that a diet of hen is rich in xanthophylls and carotenoids which is rich in antioxidants and nutrients. That chickens are feeding lots of dark red pepper or annatto seeds.
